aids and adaptations

Each year our aids and adaptations programme helps hundreds of people by carrying out both minor and major adaptations.

Wulvern are committed to making life easier for our customers, we recognise the importance of maximising their independence, improving their quality of life and enabling them to remain in their homes.

We work in partnership with an Occupational Therapist from Cheshire East who is based at Wulvern House and works within the active4age team.

The Occupational Therapist completes referrals for Wulvern tenants for adaptations to Wulvern properties; they also support and train our Mobile Support Officers to enable them to carry out assessments for minor adaptations.

She also accompanies Wulvern staff on home visits to advise on re-housing requirements, assists us in the allocation of adapted properties and provides advice on our improvement programmes and new developments.
